BSA K-8 Lead After School Teacher/Program Manager

The primary focus of the after-school lead teacher is to provide high quality academic enrichment programming for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The after-school lead teacher must be a professional committed to always striving for excellence and successful student outcomes.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Associate‚Äôs degree in Education, Child Development or an Ohio Child Care Career Pathways Level 3 Certification.
  • 18 years or older with a least two years of experience in the field of school age childcare or education.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

Ideally, the candidate will also have a current child development associate (CDA) credential.

Broad Street Achievement Programs is a licensed academic enrichment program. The program operates Monday through Thursday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Our goal is to ensure that youth in the community are prepared for high school graduation and successful transition to post-secondary education or the workforce. Our work includes providing academic support through homework assistance, one-on-one reading and math tutoring and engaging hands-on learning experiences.
