Young Adults

Young Adult ministries at Broad Street is made up primarily of people in their 20s and 30s who are interested in faith, friendships, and meeting new people. We strive to provide a point of connection to the church for both single and married people. We also gladly welcome those who are new to the area or new to the church. Come join us for some of our activities and watch the Broadstreeter (newsletter) for other opportunities. Contact info@bspc.org.

Holy Grounds is a Sunday morning group for parents with children (newborn to 5th grade). Coffee, treats, fellowship and conversation that will nurture parents as they raise their children in the faith. Group meets around once a month.

Resources for Young Adults: 

Online Devotional: www.d365.org provides, music, scripture, a small reflection and a prayer. You can start your day with it, or take 5 minutes in the middle of the day.

YAV: Young Adult Volunteer program (YAV): Interested in engaging your faith while giving a year of service? Try the Young Adult Volunteer Program (YAV) through the Presbyterian Church (USA). This is putting your Faith in Action. At least four young adults from Broad Street have served through the YAV program both nationally and internationally and have served a year in Northern Ireland, Peru, Colombia, and Denver, Colorado. What’s Next What’s Now: What’s Next What’s Now is a central hub connecting young adults to their passions and interests and helping others connect better to young adults. The Presbyterian Church (USA) wanted one place where young adults and young adult ministries could find service opportunities, identify welcoming worshiping communities in their area, learn more about advocacy issues, and explore “What’s next” alongside people from across the country.
