Mission Trips change lives. We go in partnership, and we serve alongside our mission partners as they lead the way for us to learn and serve. Mission trips are a powerful part of our connection to others in the U.S. and around the world.
2018 Mission Trips
iGen Overnight Service Trip
In 2016 & 2017, BSPC hosted our first two intergenerational (iGen) Overnight Service Trips. All ages (seriously, all ages) participated and we had a great time spending an evening and a day working and learning at the Presbyterian Farm in Logan, OH. Stay tuned for more information about a trip in 2018.
Ages 15 thru Adult
Trip 1 – June 10 – 19, 2018
Trip 2 – June 15 – 24, 2018
BSPC has been traveling to Peru for more than 15 years with teams. We travel to Peru to work with the Presbyterian Hunger Program’s Joining Hands Network. While the exact nature of the work won’t be finalized until May, we anticipate one team will be working at the shelter for survivors of sexual and domestic violence and one team working a deaf education program. In the past, our teams worked creating gardens, providing basic structural repair and building maintenance, and being in community with our Peruvian brothers and sisters. For more information and the online application visit here. Applications are due by November 1, 2017.
