Come cultivate community, connection, and green goodness! We’re gathering at the Church Garden for a morning of garden work and good vibes. All you have to do is come! No experience needed—just a willingness to dig, plant, or simply enjoy the outdoors.

It’s time to sign up for the Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway and Cupcake Event! 🦃🧁 Each year this tradition brings joy to our community, and there are many ways you can take part. Opportunities include donating ingredients, baking or decorating cupcakes, and serving during the dinner giveaway itself.

Whether you enjoy being in the kitchen or greeting neighbors in person, your help makes a real difference in making this celebration possible.

Red Tent Gathering

Together we’ll have a light lunch, and then pack period products to be shared with those in need through the Food Pantry. It is a simple, practical way to care for our neighbors. Coats for Kids 🧥

October 5 – November 2 | Marked box will be in the lobby.

Have an extra coat in your closet? Beginning October 5, we’ll host a coat collection to support the Presbytery’s Coats for Kids drive. New or gently used coats for ages 5–17 can be dropped off in the marked box in the lobby through November 2. In 2024, over 1,398 coats were delivered to 77 schools—let’s do even more in 2025!

Candidates Forum

Tuesday, October 7 | 6:00 p.m. | Palmer Hall

Step into the conversation as we welcome City Council Candidates for an open conversation about the future of Columbus. Tiara Ross and Jesse Vogel will have a conversation moderated by Rodney Dunigan. Join your neighbors for a chance to listen, learn, and ask your questions in a nonpartisan, community-focused space.

Power Tools in the Garden 🔨

Saturday, October 11 | 9:00 a.m. | Main & Back Garden 

Volunteers are needed  to build three new garden beds and repair existing beds in the Food Pantry garden at the northwest corner of the church. Work will begin at 9 a.m. and involve cutting new ties and building the frames and bases for the new beds. In case of rain, we will reschedule for Oct. 18. Harvest Festival 🍂 a joint event with Life Transformation Church

Come celebrate fall with an afternoon full of candy, costumes, music, and more! 🎃 Bring your friends, wear your best costume, and get ready for food, fun, and festivities for all ages. We need helping hands too! 🙌🏼 Volunteer by leading a game, sharing candy, or lending a hand where it’s most needed.
