As the midterm elections approach, join us for Getting in Shape for the Midterms, a conversation led by Amy Bodiker Baskes, Amy Miracle, and Sophia Lombardo of the League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Columbus. How can we move through anxiety and tap into our thoughtfulness?

This time together is not about specific candidates or platforms. Instead, we’ll wrestle with bigger questions: What values might shape our thinking and behavior in the period leading up the election and when we are in the voting booth? How does our faith shape our politics? All are welcome.

Join us after both worship services as Broad Streeters share stories and reflections from their pilgrimages to Iona, Scotland, and the Camino de Santiago in Spain. Discover how these sacred experiences shaped their faith and what they can teach us about our own spiritual journeys.

At 9:30 a.m., Kim and Jim Wilson will share about walking the Camino de Santiago. At 11:30 a.m., Christiane Buuck and Libby Buuck will reflect on their time in Iona.

When Paul wrote, “Love is patient; love is kind,” he wasn’t talking to a bride and groom. He was writing to a church struggling with conflict and division. That changes the way we hear these familiar words.

This fall, join Ann Palmerton for the 2026–27 PW/Horizons Bible Study as we journey through Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians and discover what this remarkable letter has to say to the church today.

These groups meet once a month on Zoom. Choose the option that fits your schedule:

  • Second Wednesday evenings, 6:30–8:00 p.m., beginning September 9.
  • Second Thursday mornings, 10:00–11:30 a.m., beginning September 10.
