Broad Street Food Pantry

Supporting neighbors by putting healthy meals on their table with respect and dignity for all.

We are located in the east wing of the Broad Street Presbyterian Church, 760 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43205.

We open at 8:30am Monday thru Friday and serve a limited number of shoppers each day. Once we reach that limit, we cannot serve any additional shoppers.

So that we can be more efficient, drive-through service continues. Wait in your car and a volunteer will check you in and provide the choice order form. Wait in your vehicle and another volunteer will bring the food to your car. No car? Enter through the north doors (by the handicap parking), place your order and a volunteer will bring your food to you.

We will be CLOSED for major holidays. In bad weather, the Pantry will close only when there is a Level 2 or 3 Snow Emergency in Franklin County.

More than 85% of the food in our pantry is purchased from Mid-Ohio Foodbank or local retailers. Your cash donations help us fill our shelves with the most nutritious food available. We welcome donations of unexpired shelf stable foods and fresh produce. Interested in hosting a healthy food drive? Contact Kathy Kelly-Long for details.

Broad Street Food Pantry

Mission:

To honor our neighbors by serving as a reliable source for ingredients to create healthy meals.

In 2023, the Broad Street Food Pantry provided food to 15,219 households – a 10% increase from 2022 and more than double the number of households served before the pandemic.

  • Each week 782 individuals received enough meat, milk, eggs, produce and shelf stable items to prepare 12 meals.
  • Each month we delivered meal kits to over 300 senior and working families who cannot come to the pantry.
  • Each week shoppers received a rainbow of fresh produce filled with vitamins and nutrients – more than half of which was purchased direct from local farmers.

We could not do this work without our donors and volunteers. Thank you for allowing us to provide this vital resource to our community.
