Even during these sizzling, steamy days, fall is in the air. I feel it on my morning walks. I see it as children and parents stream past our home on their way to school. I hear it from the crowd at Friday night football games.
When a season changes we have the opportunity to make changes as well. To add something to our lives. To remove something from our lives. To choose to alter a habit. To take better care of ourselves.
Recently, words from a meme spoke to me:
Me: [Sobbing] I can’t see you anymore, I won’t let you hurt me again.
Trainer: It was a sit-up. You did one sit-up.
Changing patterns and habits is hard! …and God is always offering newness; doing new things.
Consider something you’d like to change this fall. What’s the right next step?
